LNG Shipping

It is done through special purpose vessels designed for handling LNG. The size of such vessels varies from 100,000 cubic meters onward to over 2,00,000 cubic meters. There are two main containments designed for LNG vessels. Moss spherical (about 60% of the total) and membrane (40%). The Moss LNG vessel can be identified by its hemi spherical shape. Membrane vessels apper more rectangular, similar to crude & product tankers.
